Part of ur GIVEAPENNY mission involves giving back to others in our community. We love working with local foster children as a way to share what we call "cookie therapy". Cookie decorating is a wonderful creative outlet as well as a great way to make lasting memories.

Who is Penny and why does she have so much flour in her pantry?
Here's the scoop about me. I am a wife to the coolest man I've ever met, a mother of two wildly opposite and equally amazing daughters, and have been a Registered Nurse here in the Austin area for 17 years. Giving people hand crafted and meaningful gifts is my jam.

Like many of you, I have seen a rise in isolation, depression, and mental health crisis. I am a person of faith. When God lays someone on my heart, I try to listen. To find some small way to show them "You are seen. You matter. You are loved" This is where my love for baking yummy treats comes in handy. Who doesn't love getting a hand made work of art that also tastes divine!

Our mission is to spread JOY, KINDNESS, and CONNECTION through cookies. Each month we have been able to donate some of our custom gourmet treats to amazing members of our community. Some previous recipients of #GIVEAPENNY cookies include local teachers, nurses, policeman, postal workers, grocery store workers, and more. We also partner with some local non-profits to bring funds and cookie classes to foster children.
