Can I pick up cookies right now?
Our bakery is home based and we specialize in custom decorated sugar cookies. We currently do not offer walk up service. However, at times we have cookies on hand so feel free to call us at 512-850-6320 and inquire if we have any cookies ready for immediate sale.
How long will my cookies stay fresh?
Each sugar cookie is individually wrapped and heat sealed for ultimate freshness. They are good for 2 weeks but usually don't last more than two days around this house! DO NOT put your sugar cookies in the fridge. If you need to preserve them for longer than 2 weeks they freeze really well. Just place the sealed cookies in an airtight container before you freeze them. When you go to unthaw them do not open the container. Remove it from the freezer and let it come to room temp before you open it. This will ensure no condensation develops on the cookie.
Does Penny ship her cookies?
Unfortunately at this time Penny does not ship her cookies. All orders can be picked up at the Turquoise Peacock Boutique 660 S. Bagdad Rd Suite 330, Leander TX 78641. Delivery is available for custom orders in the Austin area for an extra fee.
Why are handmade sugar cookies so expensive?
Custom sugar cookies are highly labor intensive. There are many steps that go into planning, baking, and creating them. There is also the cost of ingredients, tools needed, and packaging. Trust me, I enjoy an old fashion OREO as much as the next person, but these cookies are different than your store bought goodies. They are perfect when your looking for that show stopping, delicious, gram worthy, custom cookie experience.
I am so busy, can you deliver my cookies?
Delivery is available within the Austin and surrounding areas. Our delivery fee ranges from $10-$25 dollars depending on how far away your address is from Leander.
Do you offer Gluten Free Cookies?
We are happy to offer your cookies made with gluten free flour at NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE. Many of our most frequent customers are those with gluten senstivity and allergies. They say our cookies are "the best cookie they have had in years! Not grainy or dry at all. " However, please know that your cookies will be made in a kitchen that uses gluten in other products. If you have Celiac Disease and prefer products made in gluten free facility, then our kitchen is not for you.

Common allergens in our decorated sugar cookies include wheat, dairy, eggs, milk, corn, and almond. Common allergens in our chocolate chip supreme cookies include wheat, dairy, eggs, milk, and chocolate.
